Blair and Luke's New Orleans Date Night Engagement Session

WHAT A BETTER TIME TO POST AN AMAZING ENGAGEMENT SESSION THAN THE WEEK OF THEIR WEDDING!

blair and luke were such a breath of fresh air! we pretty much were able to recreate some special moments for them and incorporate things they love to do together during their engagement session.

i wanted to share some of their thoughts on each other so you can see just how amazing they are together and how sweet their love is!

Give us the scoop on how your first met!

Blair and Luke met in college at LSU during hurricane Gustav. The story most have heard is that Luke was kicking the soccer ball with a friend and Blair was accidentally hit in the head with the ball. Luke came to the rescue and offered Blair some advil. The two got to talking and the rest is history. What you may not know, is that earlier that day when Blair was getting her things out of her car a guy started flirting with her and wouldn't leave her alone. Yet again, Luke came to the rescue! He pretended to be her boyfriend and got the guy to leave. Being the gentleman he is, he then checked to make sure she was okay, and went on his way... or so they thought!

We love to do picnics at the fly near auto been park. Luke had planned a picnic one morning and we were having lunch and mimosas. He got a new frisbee that he was very excited about so we started playing Frisbee and at one point he overthrew and when I ran to get it I turned around and he was down on his knee. When I finally said Yes! He kissed me and turned me and I heard screams of excitement. When I looked up all of my best friends and family were there watching the whole thing. He had flown in my best friends from all over the country to be there for the special moment! After many tears and hugs I found out that he had also planned an engagement party back at my parent’s house to celebrate with all of our friends and family!
