this is an engagement session with a twist ;)

i met amy around 20 years ago (yikes, this is showing my age a bit) in elementary school and have kept up with her on facebook. this is one of the reasons why i love Facebook; catching up with old friends whenever you want. anyway, she messaged me about the big news and asked for me to shoot her and zack's engagement session. we immediately got to work on the details...the bold colors were perfect for their skin tone and the  location was so quaint and country...perfect for those cowboy boots. once we started planning and coordinating...they let me in on another surprise for the session...

THEY ARE EXPECTING! how fun was this idea to announce their pregnancy? i know it is the biggest blessing for them and i was so honored to be a part of their secret for a little while until the rest of the world was clued in. april showers will bring a beautiful may baby and we all can't wait to see the little doll!
