these two melted my heart the first time i laid eyes on them. brock is for sure top notch when it comes to romacing his lady. since we have met...he has been surprising her all the time...which is how i know these two are going to stand the test of time.

their wedding had so many emotional ties to it; needless to say i did a lot of crying at this one. first of all, her mom and sister surprised her by pinning her late father's ring and a piece of his blue jean shirt onto the heart side of her dress. the reminder was meant to let her know that he would be in her heart and soul as she walked down the isle to her new husband. the sweetest moment and there was not a dry eye in the room.

secondly, they opted for a non-first look...which i loved. we blindfolded brock and walked kayla to meet him. kayla got to see him, hug him and kiss him...all without spoiling her amazing bridal surprise. they read love letters to each other and we all cried again. non-first look's also give us the opportunity to get some amazing shots of the two of them before the chaos starts and the wedding bells ring. he didn't look at her...we promise. 

the ceremony was perfect. i love the way the audience's clap sounds in a huge church...chills. every time! my favorite moment from the reception was this funny little cajun tradition. if the youngest sibling of a family gets married before the older,  the older sibling is forced to dance with a mop. yes, a mop. it was amazing...you can see a few photos of this mop dance down towards the end of the blog post.

to brock and kayla...stay sweet, romantic, understand and patient with each other...it was take you through so much growth in your marriage. best of luck and best wishes to you both!
