Amanda + Edward were such a delight! I first met them at CC's Coffee Shop and I couldn't help but feel warm about their engagement. Amanda and I could easily chat for hours and never run out of things to discuss. We talked about all of the wedding plans, locations for photo sessions, her dress and even our families. I knew from the moment I met them we were meant to work together. 

We shot their engagement photographs in Fontainebleau State Park because it offered the simplicity of the south but also the magic of the lake. They listened to all of my cues and even gave me some fresh inspiration during their off camera moments. Their love is easy but radiant and they never stopped laughing. 

My favorite moments were on the shoreline of Lake Pontchartrain. I wasn't shooting very close to them and in between my moments of direction they were whispering and giggling to each other. It was the perfect moment! Just the bride and groom to-be giggling and loving each other at what looks like the world's edge. I simply cannot get over those images, they are just too amazing.

I am so excited to be capturing their wedding in the fall of this year and I wish them the best as they continue wedding planning.
