There is nothing more enjoyable in life then becoming a parent. I am three years in on my parenting journey and it is the scariest but most rewarding thing that I do on a daily basis. I am thrilled for my best friends as they await their turn to experience this loveliness.

Mary has been such a pivotal part of my life since I was in my late teen years. When you make friends in college, you never realize just how important those friendships will be years down the road. This beautiful and intelligent human being has taught me patience, love and how to have quick wit. Hahaha. ;) All jokes aside, she has mourned with me and watched me cry a thousand times over the loss of my grandparents ...I do not know what my emotional state would be right now if it wasn't for her kind heart helping me cope and keeping me sane. I know my husband has helped immensely as well, but we all know that there is nothing that compares to love between girlfriends....we need our girls...am I right?! 

Watching her love with Champ blossom into a marriage has taught me how to be a better wife to my husband and her love for my daughter has hit my heart like nothing else. Seeing how the godmother of my child and her husband care for my baby girl like she theirs is just incredible. How on earth did I become so lucky? I am almost in tears writing this because I cannot wait to spoil my baby Alexandra; I want to hold her, kiss her and tell her repeatedly how much she is loved. I know Mary and Champ are going to make exceptional parents. The road will not always be easy, or enjoyable but it will be their road with their baby. 

For now, we all anxiously wait. Alexandra, we are all incredibly excited to meet you and your mom and dad are two of the best people in this world!
