lauren and brittany are two of the most beautiful souls on this earth that set the world on fire when they are together. when we met for coffee, we quickly realized we had a ton of mutual friends and instantly connected. we talked about all the amazing things they had planned for their intimate wedding in ITALY. (yes, italy!) and their wedding reception in new orleans at tomas bistro. 

they also started telling me their love story and about their epic first date. i just knew we had to re-create this day for their engagement session. we started the day at the bulldog with their pups and tequila shots...what more could you ask for right?! everyone at the bar was so freaking nice and genuinely happy for them. they danced while the crowd cheered them on and they even got a few rounds of drinks on the house! we moved to dat dog, which was their second spot on their first date. again, all the love was celebrated while we were there. our last stop was the kenner lakefront and we were racing the clock and the traffic to get there before sunset. 

the lakefront was pretty quiet and we found the cutest spot on the edge of the water for them to snuggle and laugh together while lauren serenading brittany with the guitar. this was such an amazing afternoon and it couldn't have been anymore perfect. these two are so in love and when they are together they are carefree and all about the fun. i am stoked to be traveling with them to italy for their wedding and then documenting the party with their friends and family in new orleans next year.
