there is nothing better than a girl that goes after what she wants. i love fabi + mark's love story. it all started at dinner with girlfriends. fabi saw mark at another table and was so curious to find out more about him. a few weeks later, she joined crossfit in new orleans and who walked in?! mark! she walked right over to him and dropped the best line on planet earth "is that all you are lifting?!" keep in mind he had about 400 lb's on his plate haha! i love it! after that, they started to get to know each other and even did a few crossfit competitions together. after quite a few months, mark made the move and asked her out on a lunch date to zea's. that same night, they met up a mardi gras parade and spent the entire mardi gras season together. their first real date was at a quaint romantic restaurant in new orleans called 1179...and little did fabi know mark would propose there four years later. 

these two are real, genuine and can't get enough of spending time together. for our engagement session, i knew i wanted to showcase their easy love in a natural setting to let it shine. they are major foodies and have a passion for donuts...so it made total sense for us to visit their favorite spot: district donuts. the day of the session, it literally rained on us several times but it didn't bother either of them. we took shelter when needed and embraced it...just like a relationship. rain or shine, they will love each other forever. 

i also have them to thank for my newest pandora obsession, hipster BBQ. i advise all of you to check it out. I have been editing to it for weeks now....the best best best. 

i cannot wait to document their love story in just a few months! their new orleans wedding in new orleans city park is going to be one for the books y'all. they really are a wedding photographer's dream.
