Kailyn + Tim {A Christmas Wedding in New Orleans LA}

every now and then in my career, i get to meet a bride and connect with her instantly. kailyn is certainly that; in fact she is pretty much my soul sister. she is beautiful, humble, kind, gracious and always has a smile on her face. the only thing that could make her even a better version of herself is tim. they are seriously each other's perfect counterpart. while she greeted guests he stared at her and smiled with his arm around her waist...you could just tell he knew exactly how great of a life partner she was going to be.

their wedding was held on december 23, 2016 in new orleans and i loved all of the christmas elements they brought to the party while still keeping the overall event classic, romantic and elegant. all the guys looked super-duper fly in their black tux's from men's warehouse and kailyn shined in her classic yvonne lafleur gown that was adorned with all the gorgeous lace. the bridesmaids were stunning and each had their own style of gown in different soft color hues. SO PERFECT!

honestly, one of my favorite parts of the day was sampling cristal. yes, i had a taste of champagne at work. if someone offered you cristal would you refuse? i think not. hahaha! while i took my one taste of the amazing bubbly, i melted into the background and watched all of the girls support their friend while she got ready. the support and love my brides get from their girls never fails to amaze me during wedding prep.

after kailyn and tim exchanged vows to promise forever to each other at st. agnes church in jefferson, we headed to southern oaks plantation in new orleans for the reception. upon entering, they were shocked to discover that there was a surprise entrance planned just for them. the fireworks sounded, the music was playing, mickey and minnie were greeting them from the balcony above, the streamer cannons boomed...i mean, it was a magical moment straight out of a movie. southern oaks creates the most cinematic moments for wedding couples and their guests. not only will they never forget their night...i certainly won't either! in fact, i was just discussing their incredible entrance with russell (owner and videographer of rz productions) over snapchat a few weeks ago. it is one of those moments that will stand the test of time.
